Financial Aid


We recommend applying for Financial Aid (FASFA) as soon as possible. Completing all financial aid application steps by the fall quarter deadline ensures your file will be reviewed before the start of fall quarter. Eligibility Criteria


Academic Requirements:
– High School Completion
– 70+ IQ
– 4th grade or higher reading, writing and math levels

Applicants must be able to:
– Independently regulate emotions to participate in classwork.
– Independently navigate a college campus and comply with Bellevue College code of Conduct.
– Plan transportation to arrive to campus and class on time.
– Plan transportation to/from campus and other local destinations as assigned.
– Manage e-mail correspondence.
– Sustain attention and initiate tasks with minimal prompting.

Behavioral Expectations:
Applicants must have a history of meeting the behavioral and attendance expectations of past educational programs or employment.

These expectations include (but are not limited to) refraining from:
– Aggression (verbal or physical)
– Leaving class without permission (elopement)
– Refusing to follow reasonable instructions
– Bullying
– Harassment

Applicants must demonstrate a
– Commitment to attend and participate in two 90-minute class sessions per day and dedicate an average of three hours to homework each week.
– Willingness to learn and actively participate in learning.

Payment Policy


Remaining balance(s) are due by the following dates:
- June 12 for Skills for Work I (June 29 – July 2)
- July 3 for Skills for Work I (July 20 – 23)
- July 10 for Skills for Work II (July 27 – 30)

Refunds will not be processed after these dates. A $35 charge-back fee will be applied for all credit card charge-backs and/or NSF checks.

Transportation

Transportation is the responsibility of each camper. OLS staff will be available on campus from 8:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
Eligibility

In order to be eligible for the camp, participants must:
- be 16-22 years old
- have an IEP, 504 plan, or documented disability; 
- have no history of behavioral issues;
- be able to participate in camps with minimal support, and willing to be part of group discussions and activities. Parents, therapists, tutors and/or other supporting persons will not be allowed to attend camp sessions.

- Please note: If a student has behavioral challenges with other camper and/or staff, they will be removed from the camp without refund.
Photo/Video Release

By submitting this form, I, the undersigned, hereby consent and agree that Bellevue College (BC) has the right to take photographs, digital images, audio or video/film of me (and/or my property) and to use them for any and all uses in print or online media. I further consent that my name may be revealed therein or by descriptive text or commentary. I consent to each and every use by Bellevue College, and all of its officers, employees, and agents of 1) each photograph, videotape or other likeness of me taken; and/or 2) comments provided in interviews; and/or 3) writing during the OLS Skills for Work Summer Camp series, June 30 - August 15, 2025. Such uses may include, but are not limited to, every use in a publication, newspaper, advertisement, web site, videotape presentation, television show or other publication or recording. I also waive any right to compensation for such uses, or to inspect or approve the uses beforehand. I release Bellevue College, its legal representatives and all persons acting under its permission or authority, from any liability for any blurring, distortion, alteration or optical illusion that may occur with these pictures.

Personal Responsibility and Liability

I, the student participant, understand that I am responsible for my own meals (outside of those provided in the program), medication, and personal safety during the OLS Campus Housing Experience program. I agree to follow the guidelines and policies put forth by BC Housing Contract.

In order to be eligible for the Campus Housing Experience program, participants must:

- Be an incoming or current OLS student in the upcoming academic year
- Have been accepted to BC Housing for the upcoming academic year

Summer Camps Paid-in-Full ($750) include $50 Non-Refundable Deposit. If paying the $50 deposit, the remaining balance of $700 must be paid in full by the date listed in the Camp Policies section of your registration. Refunds will not be processed after this date.
