Program Requirements

An interior design-related associate degree, or equivalent, that includes:
  • - Art History (5 Cr)
  • - English Composition (5 Cr)
  • - Quantitative and Symbolic Reasoning (5 Cr)
  • - Science (5 Cr)
  • - Social Science (5 Cr)
Official Transcripts


Submit official (sealed) transcripts to the BC Evaluations office (see address below) to document that you have obtained an Associate of Arts degree or higher (or equivalent), from a regionally accredited institution with a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better in one of the following degree categories:

  1. Interior Design,
  2. Interior Architecture,
  3. Architecture
  4. or Industrial Design.

Official transcripts must be submitted no later than 1 week prior to the beginning of the applicant's first quarter in the Bachelor of Applied Arts Interior Design program.

Applicants may apply before completion of these requirements but must submit their final transcript showing completion of the requirements within the timeframe outlined above.

NOTE: Bellevue College AA Interior Studies students do not need to submit copies of final transcripts documenting degree completion.

Payment Policy

The $125.00 application fee is generally not refundable unless it is determined that either the payment was made in error; the applicant is not eligible for admissions (e.g. under-age); or an appeal is granted through the college’s appeals process. If the payment is made in error or an appeal is granted, a refund will be processed within thirty (30) days of that determination.
